COUNSELING

Counseling is beneficial for a wide variety of concerns, such as anxiety, stress, depression, and grief. Through counseling, difficulties with anger management, problem solving, executive functioning, and coping with everyday stress can also be addressed. All counseling with children and adolescents at Greenville Child Psychology includes a parent/guardian component. Dr. Albers utilizes a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach in her counseling work to target the following issues:

Psychological evaluations provide insight into an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, guiding recommendations for research-based interventions to promote success across home, school, and community settings. Psychological evaluations can also help determine the need for specialized services or accommodations in schools, universities and colleges, and high stakes testing. Greenville Child Psychology provides evaluations for children, adolescents, and college-age students and offers assessment for:
